Blocks on the Rock 3
We have several members who have significant train collections. Trains are always popular but they are large and difficult to transport. The main reason for the train at this show was the return of the sign. This time we shortened it and made it so no one would walk under it, this was done because the original sign caused stress because it was tall enough that people could go under posing a safety risk. At this show many of our exhibitors were spread out through the back to limit congestion, learning from previous years.
Sheraton Hotel
Carbonear Mall Christmas Display
Hosted primarily by one of our members, it had displays from multiple of our members. This display was located in the Carbonear Mall for about a month around Christmas. By doing this we had children and parents view the display, ask questions, and ultimately decide LEGO was a worthy investment not only for their children/grandchildren – but also for themselves.
