The Newfoundland and Labrador LEGO Users Group: NewfoundLUG is a social group at its core. We are here to have fun, build, play, and share in the joy of all things LEGO together.

Who We Are

As of 2026 we have around 30 frequently active members, but another 20 or so occasonally active members. We live in all corners of the island and mainland parts of the province. We have members who are 18 years old, and some who are old enough to be grandparents. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and abilities.

Some of us attend monthly meetings in person (in St. John’s), some occasionaly attend online, some make the trek across the province to display at our flagship show: Blocks on the Rock, and some chat online and share deals, news articles, and build techniques.

What We Do

We socialize online and in-person.
We share news, tips, and deals.
We have a monthly meeting, that is hybrid in-person and online.
We have fun gatherings where we sort LEGO, play LEGO games, trade parts and sets, show off builds, give advice, and share food. We sometimes display at local shows like Av-Ex, Sci-Fi on the Rock, Library events, and The Johnson Geo Centre’s Christmas Train display.
And most importantly, we host our annual flagship event: Blocks on the Rock.
